  • Flavor and Fragrance

Mild • Naturally Sweet • Softly Herbal • Light Floral • Gentle Fennel

Burning Heart is one of the softer herbal-health blends.

Chamomile provides a light floral note, while lemon balm brings gentle citrus freshness. Licorice root and fennel seed contribute natural sweetness, and the roots and bark give the tea a smooth, earthy finish.

The aroma is mild and comforting rather than sharp or strongly medicinal.

  • Ingredients

    Organic Chamomile
A gentle, fragrant flower traditionally used in both digestive and relaxation teas. Chamomile helps give the blend its soft floral flavor and has long been enjoyed after meals when the stomach feels unsettled.

    Organic Lemon Balm Leaf
A lemon-scented member of the mint family traditionally used for both digestive comfort and relaxation. It adds a fresh, light citrus note that keeps the blend from tasting too heavy.

    Organic Licorice Root
Naturally sweet and smooth, licorice root helps balance the flavor of the other herbs. It has a long history in traditional herbal preparations centered around soothing the digestive tract and providing a comforting, coating quality.

    Organic Slippery Elm Bark
Slippery elm becomes naturally smooth and slightly mucilaginous when mixed with water. This gives it its characteristic coating quality and is why it has traditionally been included in herbal blends intended to soothe irritated-feeling tissues.

    Organic Fennel Seed
Adds a lightly sweet, aromatic flavor reminiscent of licorice. Fennel has long been enjoyed after meals and traditionally used in teas for occasional fullness, gas, and digestive discomfort.

    Organic Catnip Leaf
A gentle member of the mint family traditionally used in both calming and digestive herbal blends. Catnip adds a soft green herbal note and complements chamomile and lemon balm beautifully.

    Organic Marshmallow Root
Rich in naturally occurring mucilage, marshmallow root gives herbal preparations a smooth, soothing quality. It has long been used in traditional formulas intended to comfort dry or irritated-feeling tissues, including those of the digestive tract.

  • How to Use

Place 1 teaspoon of Burning Heart Herbal Tea into a tea infuser or tea bag.

Pour approximately 8 ounces of freshly boiled water over the herbs.

Cover and allow to steep for approximately 15–20 minutes so the roots, bark, seeds, and flowers have plenty of time to infuse.

    Strain and enjoy warm.

This blend is especially nice after meals or whenever digestive comfort is desired.

Because licorice root and fennel provide natural sweetness, taste before adding additional sweetener.
