  • How to Use

    Pest Control

    • Indoor Use: Sprinkle a fine layer of food-grade diatomaceous earth along the baseboards, in cracks, or near entry points where pests like ants, cockroaches, or fleas might enter. The powder works by dehydrating insects, eventually killing them. Reapply every few days or after cleaning the area.
    • Outdoor Use: Apply a thin layer around the perimeter of your home, garden beds, or other areas where pests are a problem. It's best to apply DE when the ground is dry, as water can reduce its effectiveness.

    2. Gardening

    • Pest Control: Dust DE on the leaves and stems of plants to deter insects like aphids, slugs, and beetles. Reapply after rain or heavy watering.
    • Soil Amendment: Mix DE into garden soil to improve drainage and add trace minerals that can benefit plant growth.

    3. Pet Care

    • Flea Control: Lightly dust your pet’s fur with food-grade DE, avoiding their eyes, nose, and mouth. Massage it into their coat and leave it on for a few hours before brushing it out. DE can also be sprinkled on pet bedding and carpets, left for a few hours, and then vacuumed up.

    4. Home Use

    • Deodorizer: Sprinkle DE in trash cans, litter boxes, or shoes to absorb moisture and neutralize odors.
    • Stain Remover: Mix DE with water to form a paste and apply it to greasy or oily stains on carpets or fabric. Let it dry, then brush off and vacuum.
