Henna has been used for centuries for skin art, hair dyes and other fun projects needing color.
HOW TO USE: Mix henna powder with an acidic liquid- enough liquid to make a yogurt like consistency. You may also add olive oil, egg or plain yogurt for conditioning.
Lemon juice is commonly used with Neutral or Blonde henna.
Coffee is commonly used with Chestnut, Red or Black henna.
Wear an old shirt as henna may dye clothing.
Apply paste to clean, dry hair.
Wipe any excess from skin as it may dye the skin.
Leave paste in hair for 4-8 hours.
Rinse completely.
