Maca is commonly used for erectile difficulty, low desire, depressed thoughts, hair loss,  weight gain, hot flashes and other symptoms associated with aging and hormonal changes in both males and females. 
 
Maca is typically taken as a supplement by adding the powder to smoothies, juice, yogurt or applesauce.
